If it is against the law for Citizens to assemble and air grievances with our Congress, it seems like that Law is a direct violation if our Constitution! No where in the Constitution does it say the Congress can restrict when, where and by whom this assembly and petition must take place! Did this individual commit any crime other than entering the Capitol Building where Citizens were unlawfully being excluded from entering? The only thing he is being accused of is being in the Capitol Building. He did not assault anyone, he did not damage anything. He was there to Petition the government for redress of grievances which is the Right of every citizen! But having THAT helmet and vest means that he maybe wearing equipment he would have been issued while in the military. Col Brock would have had to return his issued equipment before leaving his military unit. Since this Colonel is retired out of the AF less than 10 years, his military records should be accessible, to see if he did in fact return his military issued equipment, or did he steal them on his way out? No military member would be allowed to keep an issued helmet nor vest. His vest is over $600 & helmet over $400., so these alone would constitute grand theft, a felony. Wonder what other possible military issued items he may have kept? He still has his military unit patch on the vest, that is a great place to start following up the trail to investigate, if these are stolen property from the US Air Force.
